Kindly Inquisitors by Jonathan Rauch
I'm going to start documenting some of the many books I've read that are relevant to Notable Nation, and my take-away from them.
Kindly Inquisitors by Jonathan Rauch is phenomenal. I heard about it from Penn Jillette, who I knew as a magician and part of the TV show "Bullshit", but it turns out he's also a political thinker and libertarian.
Kindly Inquisitors is about the importance of free speech. Without free speech we cannot have free thought and without free thought we have nothing.

The best argument I've heard so far for Biden — Dialog between a Biden and a Trump supporter
Just because you don't support the same candidate for president doesn't mean you can't love & respect each other.

I think this was a very important and very valuable conversation, and I believe that having more conversations like this can be a huge part of helping heal the deep racial trauma in this country.
I'm grateful that Lloyd would do this work wit…
The big plan around here
This video went out in a newsletter on Memorial Day, and I thought it was a pretty good explanation of what the plan is around here, so I wanted to share it with you here on the blog.
Some background on me and the project
I shot this video to send to the email list in mid April, and figured I'd share it here for some additional context.
