We Can Do This!

This book is for anyone interested in politics, who's fed up with both parties, or all parties, fed up with the media, fed up with the mud-throwing and infighting and spinning and dishonesty and is looking for a new way forward.

A unifying mission.

A strategy that might actually work.

A strategy that most of us can actually get behind.

From my experience hanging out on both the left and the right side of politics, I've found that we all fundamentally want the same things: We want to be safe, happy, healthy, prosperous, connected, and to make the world a better place for our kids to inherit.

Forget the politicians. Forget the talking heads on TV. Forget the lobbyists and influence peddlers.

I'm talking about people like you and me. Regular people.

Regular people like you and I want the same things.

We just disagree about how to get there.

There's a lot of reasons for this. We focus on what we don't want instead of what we do want. We make it about us vs them. We get lied to by people with power and platforms. We let ourselves get dragged into the drama of it all.

This book lays out a vision for how we can overcome the political divide and create the country we want to live in.

It's not going to happen overnight. It's going to take a lot of work, starting with us doing our own inner work. We can't rely on politicians or media or any of our existing crop of leaders to do this for us.

We have to do it ourselves.

But it is absolutely doable, we just have to want it bad enough.
